We’d like to thank all our guests for participating in our recent presentation on how artificial intelligence can be both a positive and negative factor in the education space. We focused on discussing the opportunities for AI to be utilized to document, track, support, and give feedback for student growth and development, bringing in all stakeholders in the education space, starting from the students themselves and including teachers, parents, organizations, and society as a whole. 

We also explained why adhering to the traditional content focused frame of educational thinking can actually lead to AI becoming a negative driving force which leads to surface level learning and a failure to develop the actual involvement, thinking, and dynamics that are necessary for real growth. We stressed the difference between simply using flashy AI tools and actually teaching students the logic behind AI and actively shaping it to meet specific needs and goals.

The talk concluded with 5IN demonstrating the AI student learning/support/communication/management system that we are currently developing in house to ensure that our students have yet another powerful tool that will assist them in their path towards the future.
